The vision of InterVarsity Alumni is to radically live out the gospel and to engage the world with the truth of Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
To create a strong network of alumni who will challenge each other to live out the gospel in the City and continue to give their time, talents, and resources to the work of InterVarsity in Metro-New York area. We want alumni to have a vision to "transform your world."
The important role of InterVarsity Alumni Network
Serve the Alumni
The Alumni Network seeks to encourage and equip alumni to live their Christian faith by hosting:
- Social events
- Worship nights
- Professional-specific seminars
- Topical forums
- Community service opportunities
- Church Connections
Serve the New York City IVCF Campuses
The Alumni Network wants to establish and advance witnessing communities of students and faculty in following Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord in their campuses. Partnering with New York City chapters, the Network offers opportunities for alumni to support staff and students by:
- Praying regularly for staff and students
- Mentoring and discipling students
- Participating in career-oriented and post-graduation seminars
- Volunteering at regional retreats
- Supporting the ministry financially
