Our New York City Urban Project (NYCUP) has been growing exponentially. About 400 students have been invovled in service projects this semester. This is a 300% gain in the number of students involved in NYCUP projects since last fall.
Progress
Decisions of Faith: We are seeing a significant increase this year of students coming to faith in Christ.
Overall Students: There are 100 more students involved in InterVarsity chapters this fall than there were last May!
Campus Engagement: We are on track to meet our goals for campus engagement this year.
Our Story
InterVarsity NYC is experiencing a ministry turnaround as students and faculty are transformed, campuses renewed, and world changers are being developed!
We're growing! For the past few years InterVarsity has seen a rapid increase in reached students and campus impact. Our students are winning awards for campus contributions, serving as college ambassadors, and mobilizing students to make a difference.
Despite our growth we are still only a tiny pebble in the great pond that is the NYC university world. But we have tremendous hope. We long to make ripples in this pond that will be felt a long way away. And we're seeing it happen.
